Introducing the MAESTRA Collection

BROCHIER will be presenting the new textile collection Maestra at Paris Deco Off 2019, Galerie de l’Europe, 55 rue de Seine, January 17-21.

The 2019 collection features a mix of heritage and innovation, in the distinctive BROCHIER style, to offer our clientele premium fabrics that combine beauty and luxury with comfort and high technical performance.

Again this year velvets are the protagonists of the collection, with offerings ranging from a fine silk velvet woven on shuttle looms to original velvets with printed paisley or chevron pattern inlays.

Among the jacquards this year there is a black and white cotton knit with micro tricot-effect pattern perfect for upholstery. The printed fabrics, all designed in-house by our style department, are made on innovative base fabrics: a 100% linen with a rustic, heavy appearance that is ideal for upholstery, a high-performance polyester, made from yarn designed in-house for a unique print result, an outdoor fabric of the highest quality that combines softness and comfort with high resistance to fading and wear.

As for designs, this year’s highlights are a tropical contemporary jacquard, embellished by numerous details and colours and an abstract jacquard pattern, very dramatic and perfect for original draperies, characterized by colour shades that pair perfectly with the other items in the collection.
Our classical plains are enhanced with new colours in delicate shades of beige, blue, greys and browns, creating a wider-than ever palette for both wool and velvet.
